1 week ago1. Unreasonable Cost: This script is severely overpriced! Despite the high cost, they don’t provide full source code—only the compiled version. Meaning, for ANY technical change, you must pay the developer again. Totally illogical!
2. Vague Packages & Updates: Product details and package versions are unclear. At this premium price, free lifetime updates should be mandatory, yet they seem to charge extra for every new update!
3. Better Alternatives Exist: Cheaper or even free alternatives (e.g., Bold.DIY under MIT License) offer open-source solutions. For half this cost, you could hire a dev to build a superior custom version AND own the source code outright! - View 4 more replies

1 week agoOkay, so you came to the reasonable conclusion that it's better to remove the compile mode. If you price it reasonably (similar to other scripts in this range), then I'll buy it. Right now, your price for this 3.1 version you wrote is very imaginative and high, and no one will buy it. Especially since there are so many free and open source versions.
-
1 week agoStarsky AuthorHello,
The price has already been reduced by 26% and is very affordable considering the additional services that come with it. We are not an ordinary company that will sell you software and then abandon you.
The current price on https://monzed.com remains the same.
You have the right to explore other open source solutions and pay developers 10x the price to add payment integrations and features for you.

1 week agoI have carefully reviewed your project. The real value is at the highest possible level for the regular version, $49, and the commercial version, $99! No more! I just said it is much higher than the range of similar projects you have.
It doesn't matter if you like it or not, it's the truth! Otherwise, you won't have any buyers and it will remain at the level of just 2 people who have bought it, one of whom is you!

2 weeks agoHi,
After reviewing your project, it appears to be identical to the open-source project Bold.DIY (MIT License) with only minor design changes, such as a red color scheme. While I understand that the MIT license allows reuse, the architecture and functionality seem to have been replicated without significant modification.
This raises serious concerns as to why customers should pay a substantial amount for a product that is essentially the same as a freely available open-source project on GitHub. Additionally, I noticed that you have not provided any attribution or credits to the original open-source authors, which is a violation of open-source ethics and community standards.
I have also reviewed feedback from other authors who raised similar points. Dismissing these concerns by simply stating that it is "original work" is not acceptable when clear similarities exist.
Please respect open-source projects and their creators by providing proper acknowledgment. If this issue is not addressed, I will have no choice but to report it to the relevant platforms. -

2 weeks agoFirst question: Is there a restore system when creating a project?
Is there a memory system so that the site remembers the same project? If not, can you create a log file that will be created for each project? -
2 weeks agoStarsky AuthorHello,
The project snapshots are saved securely in the database and are loaded automatically whenever you open your project, allowing you to continue your progress.

3 weeks agocr8ball PurchasedI don't see if webcontainers.io API is not required in the requirements section. Can you confirm? Thanks. Is the requirements are up to date?
-
3 weeks agoStarsky AuthorHello,
WebContainers.io runs entirely in the browser and creates a virtualized environment without needing external API calls or keys. The library handles everything locally, so there's no API key requirement in the setup process.
Yes, all requirements are up to date.

3 weeks agoI'm sorry but isn't this literally just a reskin of Bolt.diy (eg. Bolt.new which is open sourced and fully available on GitHub)? I thought it looked very similar and then when I clicked the preview in a new tab button, I was greeted with the identical bolt page with the same hyperlinks to stackblitz (the company who created bolt.new). It just seems a little dishonest to market and sell the source code for an app that's just been slightly changed from an already open sourced project. Care to explain?

3 weeks agoStarsky AuthorHello devi0us,
We want to clarify that while our project may share some UI similarities with bolt.diy or bolt.new, it is not a copy. Our codebase is original, and any inspiration drawn from publicly available open source components as is common in open source development was within the bounds of acceptable use.
That said, out of respect for the broader open source community, we’ve added a mention in our overview acknowledging inspiration where applicable
We support open source, but we also stand by the originality of our product 😊.
Best regards, -
2 weeks agoHi all,
Thank you for your earlier clarification. However, I still have some concerns regarding the originality of the codebase, as there appear to be significant similarities with bolt.diy or bolt.new. It feels as though the project might be heavily based on copied open source code that was modified with Sass, rather than being an entirely original creation.
I fully support open source collaboration and appreciate the value of building upon existing work, but transparency and proper credit are essential.
Could you please provide more details on the extent of the original work versus modifications? This will help clarify any doubts and foster a fair understanding of your project’s uniqueness.
I look forward to your response. -
2 weeks agoStarsky AuthorHello,
Our codebase is completely original and bears no resemblance to the projects you mentioned. We legally incorporate select open-source components, but our core architecture is entirely proprietary.
Review our demo at https://sharelock.cc
we're preparing a major update that will clearly demonstrate our platform's unique innovation.
We stand behind the originality of our work.

3 weeks agoHi I’m looking to buy this script is there a limit to the size of project I can built with it thanks
-
3 weeks agoStarsky AuthorHello,
Thank you for your interest!
There are no technical size limits for projects you can build with our script. Each project, regardless of its complexity or size, is automatically optimized and bundled efficiently by the containers technology.
You can build everything from simple single-page applications to complex multi-component projects without worrying about size constraints.
Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions!
Best regards -
3 weeks agoGreat so there is no container limit, my projects are big
